Head Start Lead Teacher (2)
Hours: 40 Hours Weekly
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field.
- Acceptable criminal records check.
- Experience with preschool children, including those with special needs.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle that can be used on the job.
- Aware of cultural and linguistic diversity of the children and families we serve.
- Knowledgeable of basic computer skills.
Job Duties Include:
Follow all guidelines set forth in the Ninth District Opportunity’s Personnel Policies, Procedures Manual, and Operations Plan.
Provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating, and secure learning environment.
Monitor and record progress of children.
Meet all guidelines and policies of the classroom.
Work to ensure that all aspects of the program meet or exceed all requirements set forth by the governing agency.
