Requirements:

  1. Credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counselling, or a related field.
  2. Knowledge of local community and resources.
  3. Knowledge of basic computer skills and predominant software (word processing, spreadsheets, email, Internet).
  4. Awareness of the cultural and language diversity of the children/families in the community.
  5. Experienced driver with valid license who has access to a vehicle that can be used on the job.
  6. Must be 18 years of age.
  7. Acceptable criminal records check.

Responsibilities:

Recruit families for the Head Start Program, complete applications, and the enrollment process, assist families with resources, maintain health requirements for children, data entry, and planning and coordinating workshops.  Work as an advocate for families and children

Applicants must be able to pay attention to detail, must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines. Good organizational skills a must.  Deadline to apply April 25, 2024
